Hi,
I am new to the forum and OBD11 coding, so please forgive my ignorance. I hope I am posting this in the right place if not please accept my apologies.

I want to code the interior lights in my VW GOLF 2017 1.6 |TDI SE NAV not to come on when the tailgate is opened. Not sure if this is even possible? My reasons for wanting to do this are due to bugs and flying insects in the summer. I fish a lot and late into the early hours and find the cabin getting filled with bugs and stuff a pain due to all the interior lights coming on. Any help would be most welcome.

If i understood you correctly do you want to disable that the lights turn on when doors are open or only when tailgate is open,
if it is the first one where you want to disable interior lights to automatically turn on when any door is open then you only need to press that button circled in red which is located inside roof/ceiling interior lights for the front seats.
The symbol on the button is a car with a door open

However if you only want to disable the interior lights to turn on when tailgate is open then I cant help you since I dont know if that is possible.
