I think lots of people have had a mess with the obd on my car, i get lots of messages telling me databus error value like U112300, AND inccorectly coded like U101400, also u140000 intermittant, which i expect down to covid and not using it enough. but is there a way of resetting the car to factory reset so i have a clean start ?

No you have to work through your history and undo all the changes you made.
NEVER EVER use the factory reset option in the app! This will get you a lot of trouble!
Only use it if you know what you're doing!

Factory reset is not a reset to original values, but a reset to no values, so that will give you a lot more problems.
