The steering wheel column stalks on my car as standard came without a cruise control stalk. I have replaced this 2 stalk unit with one that has a 3rd Cruise Control Stalk.
How do I activate this in my control units so that it will work?

I thought that this is a licensed feature, so you can’t activated without a license.
You have to buy a license from the dealer.
Same issue with Audi drive select.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Well, I'd say that you're probably right and in fact I wish I'd known that before I had bought and fitted the relevant bits, but my investment was minimal. I thought I'd give this Forum a try before I leap in and part with the £500 that the dealer wanted to be able to the same thing.

longjon14 : OP is correct, CC is SWAP which means that you need a license that's customized to your VIN. But since you have already fitted the CC stalk lever, try the Steering Assist module (@ address hex44) - go to Coding and set Byte 0, Bit 5.

PS: Not sure if you are aware, but CC also requires the installation of a new wire connected between the ECU and the Steering Assist module
