I’ve Just purchased an OBD11 Along with my new 2019 GTD. the car has the 8inch MIb2 unit and virtual cockpit. I want to change the lights of the virtual cockpit and the MIb2. Obviously I knew ambient lighting was what I need but when I go to activate it it says not supported??? How do I get this to work? I have no idea or clue what I’m doing with long coding so if anyone has a beginners video on how to activate this or how to troubleshoot it saying not supported that’ll be great. Something I really want to have in my cockpit especially.

As I understand the header where you put the colours in has changed name in newer models hence why the app is not supported,

Not full beginners guide, but it’s pretty basic stuff, you watch it through, then go through the settings on the car to make sure you can find them ALL, even stop the video in places, then if you feel confident enough, go back and do it for real

I was thinking of adjusting Foot and Door brightness (its factory only white/single color lighting) on the background lighting menu (I already added 10 color background selection for AID and Discover media (MIB2) and its working fine, but I lost foot and door brightness adjustments under "Lights").

See the video here, I believe its basically the same across a few models as long as you have the right unit, I've done my 7.5 R and you can choose the 10 or 30 set of colours

Hey guys, i have the exact same problem in my 2018 GTD. I have the digital instrument cluster and the 9.2 Inch discover pro. In the obdeleven app all of the ambient lighting color apps are not available. Anyone that can help me out with a video on how to long code it yourself as i am a total beginner and never used longcoding.

I think I’m the only one who has videoed the coding of the colours and posted it as I’ve not seen anyone else on YouTube not use the app or just show you the results to sell you,
My video is for a 2017 model tho so some headers may be different
