HI
I havea my 2018 vw golf7 4motion with discover media.

My discover media had no dab and was 3q0035864c.....

As I strongly wanted the DAB i bought a 3q0035874c that was the same model but with dab.

The new unit had been adapted to my golf 7 in almost all....

ONLY ONE PROBLEM....

As it comes from an hybrid passat the only think i can't switch off is the e-manager switch in car menu and the electric traction switch in general menu.....

Here you are 2 photos....

Can you help me to delete this switch and menu that in my car don't need?

Search for the word "Hybrid" in adaptions and long-coding and disable these options. Reset media and done.

Scan, choose module 5F. Goto long-coding, there's a list with options look for the word "hybrid" and disable these options. Do not touch other ones. Same with adaptions. Disable all hybrid options. Also look for Engine Type, disable electric engine if selected. Save, reboot media and you should be good!
