from OBD11 website: The programming temporarily is not supported on models that are manufactured from 2020 and have SFD protection. The negotiation regarding the support of these models is in progress.

I was having the same issue with my 2021.5 Atlas. Open the hood and try again. Works perfectly.

SFD is only on two VW models currently the MK8 Golf and one Skoda model on the MQBv38 platform. As mikelo mentioned you just have to open the hood like has to be done on certain Audi's. If something doesn't work, open the hood.

I would also say that from what I have seen all new VAG Cars now need hood open and parking break applied to enable coding, previously it was just the Audi models.

Just traded my Tig for a Cross Sport. Opened the hood and everything worked.

I have the 2021.5 Atlas and I am unable to get any of the adaptations or apps to stay programmed except for the windows open/close on key fob.
I had needle sweep and I thought I had it so the auto start stop was disabled but now, no needle sweep and the car turns off at stop signs.
Would one of my issues be that I need to have an OBDELEVEN for each of my cars as I move the scanner to each car?

With regards to the Dongle there is no limit currently to the number of cars you are able to code against so this will not be the cause of your issues.
With regards to stop start, VW Generally have disabled the ability to turn this off using the old voltage method on the MQB Platform
The only other obvious thing that can be an issue is the newest cars need to have the bonnet open in order for coding to stick and / or your car is now protected by SFD so you coding choices will be very limited.
I dont think your car is SFD Protected but if you go to Control Unit 09 Live data and type in SFD, Does this bring anything back.
