I found that I could get rid of the orange "side lights" in the headlights at night and have them as clean signals only. The city lights work as front marker lights anyway. The signals are more obvious going from off to on instead of half on to on. The headlight adaptation in Central Electrics allows headlight mode to be switched to rest of the world, instead of US/Can for bi-xenon or halogen lights.

I discovered another feature of this adaptation. This enables the European single-side marker lights for overnight street parking. As with many European Cars, leave the turn signal on as you shut off the ignition and that side marker lights will remain on, front and rear.

Hello mate, How is this done and will it work the opposite way, going EU function to US?

I imagine it would work the other way. The North American front indicators are single filament but used at two intensities (voltage levels). The problem comes with LEDs, as the voltage difference doesn't make that much difference in intensity so the signals aren't very apparent when the headlights are on.
Take a look at the coding for "central electrics". The least significant digit is the country code: 1-Rest of the world/Nordic countries (Denmark/Croatia/Baltic countries) with Bi-xenon 2-Nordic countries (Denmark/Croatia/Baltic countries) without Bi-xenon 3-USA/Canada with Bi-xenon 4-Canada without Bi-xenon 5-Special vehicles
Mine was 3 and I changed it to 1.
