I have an OBDEleven Pro and an Amazon handheld VW scan tool (with battery registration function). Both of these tools say the function is not available to code a new battery.
Now every forum post and youtube video I've come across is on a regular A6 C6 using an OBD11 not an S6. Is there anyone that can confirm, who has a S6 C6, that it does not have the ability to program a new battery? The car itself does have the battery control units on the terminals in the trunk so I would assume you do need to program but I cant seem to do it.

I have the same issue. I think using long coding it may be possible but we would need to know which byte and bit to alter.

I don’t even think it’s enabled for this car I just need confirmation even if you go into long coding for that battery OBDEleven and my other scanner say every channel is unavailable in gateway19.
