Try these instructions: High intensity brake light (hazards flash with hard braking) 09 - Central Electronics Adaptation - 10 (1)-Assistance light functions-Notbremsanzeige NBA -> "active" (default "not active") (11)-Dyn. turn signal modes-Notwarn_blinken_NBA_Phase_2 -> "active" (15)-Dyn. turn signal modes-Crashblinken -> "active" High intensity brake light operates on both inner and outer lights 09 - Central Electronics Adaptation - 10 (8)-Leuchte27NSL RC6-Lichtfunktion C 27 -> "Brake light on" (default "not active") (10)-Leuchte27NSL RC6-Dimmwert CD 27 -> "100" (default "0") Disclaimer: my OBDeleven hasn't arrived yet, so I can't test this. And me, all is setup perfectly, but no matter how hard I hit the brakes, hasards don't flash. Is it because I'm is snow so the car doesn't slow down as fast as on tarmac? Dunno. ABS is working as hard as it can though...

But like you it dosent seem to engage the flasher when I commit a complet stop

I don't know. I'd need to have someone behind me to know... But I'm guessing if the hazards are suppose to flash, then I presume the red hazard logo would flash with both the green arrows on the dash.

the brake lights to go into flash mode when anti-locking is activated. But you have to be braking from over 100kph for it to work. I've tried from 50, 80 and 105kph. They flashed only the last time. ABS came ON all three tries. Here's a video of what it does. I slammed the brakes from 105kph to 40kph before releasing and drive normally again.

So I got this working on my US 2017 build GTI w/ Euro LED tails, which was "fun" as the location of the changes are in COMPLETELY different locations compared to the original instructions.
Like I said I verified it works, but the brake lights flash, can I not get the brake lights to stay solid and the HAZARD lights flash? That's what I remember seeing while I was living int he UK.
Also, you have to REALLY brake hard to get the lights to actually flash, is there any way to adjust the sensitivity? I remember seeing cars hazards flashing as traffic was building up quickly, we were braking hard but not hard enough for ABS to kick in, which is when the lights flash on the GTI

But in America aren’t your break lights also your turn signals?

But in America aren’t your break lights also your turn signals? Yes. But it's unlikely you'll have the time to use your turn signal while breaking for an emergency.

What I mean is you want your hazard lights to flash when you break hard, your break lights are also your hazards not a separate light in the US of A, ergo you want your break lights to flash when you break hard

Does anyone know the coding for the emergency breaking rear light sequence? would really appreciate it Golf mk7 1.4 GT hmm.......... absolutely no coding changes needed - the only requirement for "breaking" rear lights is a stout hammer and a bit of force!!!
everyone, I think we are talking about "brake" lights - not "break" lights.
And yes, I appreciate the difficulties of spelling in English where English is not the first language. English does not have the advantages of many (far superior, IMO) European languages which are phonetic!
Hell- in English, even the word "phonetic" isn't spelled phonetically!

Does it works with this Rearlights too? Golf Sportsvan bj 2015 I would like to code this: High intensity brake light operates on both inner and outer lights 09 - Central Electronics Adaptation - 10 (8)-Leuchte27NSL RC6-Lichtfunktion C 27 -> "Brake light on" (default "not active") (10)-Leuchte27NSL RC6-Dimmwert CD 27 -> "100" (default "0") It works
