Hello, today I enabled automatic high beam on a Tiguan MK2 (2020, spain/europe) They getting activated by default speed of 60km/h.
Is there any posibility to change the speed? (And how)
Thanx.

Believe this is hard coded and not available to be changed. Cannot locate where it should be through VCDS or OBD11.

You’re welcome! I’ve poured through multiple admaps and tried to cross reference other MQB platforms, but no luck and others have tried.

It's possible on my uk model and it's some where withing the menu as mine activates at 20mph at the moment as I'm using a major road but it's got a 20mph speed limit on certain parts as they are widening the lanes and its absolutely pitch black on a night with concrete crash barriers either side of two very narrow lanes so I needed the main beam on early for my own safety. Let me have a look later today and I'll see where those settings are but I never did it with the obdeleven it's already available in the lights section of the menu

Sorry I should have clarified it’s not available on NAR (North American Region) models. On prior VWs we had to go into coding with either VCDS or OBD11 to change the activation speed. In the past you had to go under A5, but nothing is there for Activation of high beam assist in order to change the speed. I’ve even looked in 09 since that’s where you can set high beam assist to persistent. Also have checked 4B as that has additional functions available for our AFS (Adaptive Front Light System) that we get here with NAR models equipped with LED front headlights. I suspect you have DLA (Dynamic Light Assist) on your Tiguan and since DLA has the shutter system to “cut” the main beam, it would make sense you have that option available in the MIB. We sadly due to regulations don’t have the fancier shutter system of DLA, and not fortunate enough like Arteon owners that the shutters are there just not coded for use.
