Thanks for the quick reply
Yes that’s the first thing I did I don’t know how to make a good history report Because I installed memory seats in the car with succes I was trying to add the “seats” menu in the MiB. This showed up in the menu but was greyed out. I wanted to take it out again since it was useless , I made the associated adaptions not active which not only took the “seats” options out but also numerous hybrid functions as mentioned above. It was immediately after I did this adaptation
That’s iit
Started googling about this and found one guy on the myAudia3 forum With the same situation

michelaudia3: Hi. With absolutely no offense intended, I have no idea what your intentions were in making the changes listed in the History file that you have provided - sorry, but I just can't follow the reasoning in your changes!! My suggestion (for what it's worth) - start with the hex5F module and the earliest record. Then methodically and CAREFULLY revert each change to its "Oude waarde". When you have finished this exercise reset the MIB unit Don PS: even if you regain the lost screens in the hex5F module, I suspect that the errors in the other modules in your scan report will need further investigations - I think.

michelaudia3 : Hi. Hi Don first : thanks for your time and thoughts,
With absolutely no offense intended, I have no idea what your intentions were in making the changes listed in the History file that you have provided - sorry, but I just can't follow the reasoning in your changes!! No offense taken, without explanation it is not very clear. Some background information: I have an Audi A3 e-tron make 2015, from factory there is no option for memory seats. I bought a Skoda Superb 2017 seat and installed it in my Audi. Made connection between seat and comfort can bus of the car. So far so good. The seat works perfectly with the car and I have the first A3 with memory seats and even key fob memory. The only thing that didn't work was the seat-menu in the mib/mmi. (its called "stoelen" in Dutch) Thats where I started messing with the hex5f module. By activating the seat adaption lines , the option seats appeared in Mmi but greyed out . So I did so more experimenting until I decided to give up and remove the option because it stayed grey. But immediately after I adapted this seat-line to not activated, I noticed that more options in the mmi were gone. All e-tron related options are gone.
I n panic I tried bringing back the (electric/e-tron)auxiliary heating , but that was the petrol-driven-aux-heater so I undo that.
My suggestion (for what it's worth) - start with the hex5F module and the earliest record. Then methodically and CAREFULLY revert each change to its "Oude waarde". When you have finished this exercise reset the MIB unit Off course was the first thing , read out the history and revert the changes I made , but there's nothing e-tron related that I changed.
Do you happen to know which lines are associated with the e-tron options? Don PS: even if you regain the lost screens in the hex5F module, I suspect that the errors in the other modules in your scan report will need further investigations - I think. Sorry to say but it can't be a coincidence that on this forum alone, there are three other e-tron drivers with the same problem after making non related hex5f adaptions? It appears somehow in the background something changes what is not in the history log And what about these two threads:www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/374919-my16-mib2-coding/forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/4343/And what are the difference or what or why are there :vehicle menu operation displayvehicle function list BAPcar function adaptions gen2 menu displaySincerely Michel

Michael: the topic that is discussed in your link may have produced similar problems, but the cause was a particular release of VCDS software (VER 15 x....) which was incompatible with the then new MIB2. The matter was resolved with the VER 16.... release - see link below forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/4343/#post-42311Don PS: Have you tried resetting your MIB?

michel: Please explain why you have Component Protection (CP) errors in both the hex09 and hex19 modules? Usually, CP errors occur when key modules are changed. What new equipment have you installed?
As for duplicates - I don't know (I had thought that it related to whether the change was successful - but as @testeronline says in the next post, this isn't the case) Don

dv52 (Australia) Last time I asked support about the history file being updated they confirmed its saved only when you apply the changes successfully in the control unit. but we have all seen odd stuff in history before. forum.obdeleven.com/post/41022

@testeronline: thanks for the correction - I'd forgotten our previous conversation regarding this matter. I'll delete my hypothesis so as not to confuse future readers. Can you explain the reason for duplicates in the History records - if it's not related to when the change is successful?

Don,
When I do manual scan now I don’t get any comp-prot errors any more
First I turned on “seat-configuration” in adaptations 5f (Just testing if menu shows up )
Then I installed driver seat module 36 for memory seats.[
Seats work fine , but not no visuals in MMi
br] Then I removed “seat-configuration “ from adaptation 5f
Etton menu’s are gone
Then I put “seat-configuration “ back in adaptions 5f

dv52 (Australia) i am afraid i have no explanation what I would say is if people have this issue they need to report it to support and hopefully they will work out what the glitch is causing the problem but we have seen history and control unit coding issues causing duplicate records a number of times over the history of this project.

I put the adaption line “hybrid “ op NOT activated
Reset. The animation of the batterymanagement is back in the mmi when on drive-select screen!!!!!! Finally a little light at the end off the Tunnel.

Hi, I have the same problem. After programming the reading of road signs and automatic high beams for credits, the hybrid menu disappeared. Could you describe step by step how you fixed it?

Hi, first of all I will write that he managed to fix this problem, so I will write a tutorial below because many people have this problem and there is no solution anywhere on the Internet. (Sorry my English is not good, I come from Poland.)
Run the application and connect to your OBD Eleven, select your car and go to the control units tab.
Then select module 5F (Electronics of information systems 1)
go to the adaptations tab
Find "Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2"
and come in. Find "Menu_Display_Battery_management" and Menu_Display_Battery_management_over_threshold_high" and set these two options to Activated
After completing this process, the hybrid menu should return to your car, but without the parking air conditioning.
To activate it, find in the same tab
"Menu_auxiliary_climatization" and "Menu_auxiliary_climatization_over_threshold_high" and set these two options to Actived.
After completing this process, everything should work, I hope I helped.
