Hello all.
I recently just reinstalled my 3rd haldex pump motor lol. Everything seems to be working fine so far but, I still believe the pump needs to conduct a relearn due to it being a new pump.
I just read that I am not supposed to use "China copy software like OBDEleven" to do this operation. I have no idea why the folks over in the UK are saying this. I say this because I have successfully pumped the motor when I stumbled upon a really weird way of getting it to trigger.
Does anyone know the procedure SPECIFIC to OBD11 to pump the motor? It does not work always for some reason. I noticed when attempting the [run pump motor] via basic settings and then simultaneously spinning one of the wheels while they are in the air cancels that basic setting. THEN you can finally pump the motor by doing the operation a 2nd time and HEAR it run and purge itself. It's a very weird way of getting it to work but, it works pretty well, the only question is whether this messes with the haldex controller or not I don't know.
Is there a sequence of resetting adaptations and opening/closing the clutch that I should be doing before attempting the run pump motor in basic settings?
I am aware VCDS has a specific output sequence that they use that has them go through a couple different basic settings in a matter of minutes. Does anyone know what that is?

I also need to do a “pump lean” procedure and I wondered if there was a way with OBD11. I will try your technique Also do you It's worth it to try a “pump learn” if the clutch status is lower than usual when in lock mode? I have a haldex controller.

The pump relearn can be done.
Follow the instructions through basic settings and make sure you wait until the car is heated up at optimal temperature before attempting it.
I need to do one as well because the rear tires stutter step from time to time in turns.
