If I'm reading your post correctly - if your fog lights have been turned-on (nigh time driving), the only way to "activate high beams" is to:

push the left-hand stalk behind the steering wheel towards the windscreen

This is option 1 in my instructions - what have I missed?

I just wanted to know if the switch would make the fogs come on with high beams (like daytime high beaming someone), or if they would not shut off when using high beams at night.
