mcclooney : OK, you could try @@testeronline suggestion - remove the hex56 module manually like this: Step 1 - On the control module screen (below), select the pencil in the red colored circle: Step 2 - On the screenshot below, scroll-down until you find (56) and remove the tick next to the module Step 3 - Press OK Does the hex56 module still appear in the list of modules in my first screen? Hello DV52,
When I open the pencil menu and scroll to 56, there is no check mark here. so I turned it on once, after which the message comes from auto config gateway, this turns it off, but in the overview the 56 module remains visible with the same long coding as the 5F module. very weird problem. both modules also give the same error message on the camera. no rear view camera signal. maybe you have another way to reset the gateway? so that it does not see the 56 radio module. even if I remove the camera and the coding, the 56 radio module remains visible.

It should be compatible, also the retrofit company tested a other camera wich also is not working...

Not sure if relevant or not but when you are offline I also get control unit 56 AND 5F showing on my MQB Platform car (bug has been reported many times) however when I am online and connected to car I only see 5F
