Description of bug: From the car menu (Garage and Select Car) the first menu item is History which displays all history. However from that menu when you select the Filter menu the list starts at Adaptations, backup, full backup etc but there are 4 other filter items above that you have to scroll up to get (very annoying as its not obvious till you filter and find stuff you don't wont). This release is related to connection and Function not available so all other issues still outstanding. You may not consider this a bug but I do, On android if you forget your 6 digit password for the dongle there is an automated process. On IOS You have to send a help request to support (which is not 24 hr and not 7 day's a week) for a manual responce (see below) This should use the same automated process as you do not add in any extra checks.
Help File Issues - I consider these bugs because the point of help files is to help not confuse people. I have raised these issues multiple times via all the normal routes but it seems its rather difficult for you to update you web site help pages.
Good point, when i log in on IOS App i am shown the IOS Help Pages. Bad point 1/ When you open the help page first menu items is Genera. Also I don't like the text color (Blue)
and last point the for more information link takes you to a Android page.
Language - i have raised this before and some changes have been made but still not fully correct. Android and IOS have different numbers of Languages and different names can we please apply some standards and have a single list both apps use. Secondly when i go into IOS APP STORE as you can see below it says English plus 27 according to my app its English plus 29
General bug you used to very kindly provide a time line of when missing features would be implemented (quarters rather than dates) that is no longer shown but there are a number of very good features that are on the Android app that have not been copied across to IOS For Example
Warning message to users that bonnet must be open to accept coding History Archive feature Orientation Workshop number Charts
and many more (check here for my current list)

Description of the bug: frequent crashing while using Live Data
OBDeleven version - 1.3.6
Phone - iPhone XR 2019 running IOS 14.0.1
Car - VW golf 7 estate, 2016 1.6 tdi 81 kW

I have been trying to assess the condition of the battery using live data and following the battery voltage and alternator voltage. The app crashes when I scroll down with about 10 parameters for live data. This not only occurs with the voltage but also when I was looking at the dpf readings.

Description of Bug I have been looking at the issue on Android where duplicate control units are shown under control unit view. Checked on IOS for a car with duplicates and IOS does not show them twice which is good, 2011 car. However the bug is on this car in Android there are 18 Control units shown on IOS there are only 6 I double checked on my car and in IOS i am getting Control unit 33 (already reported as a bug) but otherwise they are the same
Checked on another older car and have the following differences between Android and IOS IOS Has Control unit 04, 05, oe, 14, 16, 33 that are not shown on Android.

Description of the bug: With the engine running the battery indicator on the home page of obdeleven app shows 12.2 V, but the live data shows 14.7 Volts. This does change after restarting the app couple of times.

Description of bug: Added a new 2021 Audi A8 via IOS Phone, enter VIN Number and car is added (all good) However when I go look in the Garage the Engine and Body type are not shown, Engine I understand as car was added offline but Body Type seems to be only update able in Android. When I check the car in Android it ask me to enter the Model, Modification and Body type but I can't see how i do this in IOS.
Further issue you cant add in Manually the Engine code or Equipment codes you have to do that in Android.

Description of bug:
1/ Noticed today for the first time, When you run a scan on Android and then looked at output in IOS it shows the Mileage twice. As per dv52 (Australia) comment below on Android this is shown with KM after figure.
2/ On same car when I checked Control unit 17 which has an error saying No Basic Settings Android and IOS Show it differently

As you can see in the below screen shot you can just about see the description ODX version but there is no scroll bar so you cant see it on the screen.
has been raised before but no response or fix yet.
Under Advanced identification - AUTOSAR standard application software identification There are a number of fields called Standar software module which on Android have values eg BAP, UDS - PROTOCOL, CAN - Driver, ISO15765-2 but on IOS they are all blank Would have thought that is a 2 second code fix.....

Also noted today that in Android the Full scan shows the Mileage on each control unit but not on IOS
Also in Android its called inactive faults but in IOS its called Passive faults - bit of consistency please

^ ^^^^^ hmm........ @testeronline ; if your ever become a surgeon, you can operate on me anytime - I like your eye for detail!!. Just to add to your comment and because I also have pedant tendencies, "mileage" is probably a very specific term valid only to VAG vehicles which are NAR models. According to Mr Google. "mileage" means the number of miles traveled or covered. Now of course any reading that is shown on the Dashboard module (@ address hex17) can be converted to "Miles" but I very much doubt that the number that is shown on your screenshot undergoes any conversion (and, why would it be converted to miles in most models?). More likely, the number shown is taken directly from the CAN bus memory which almost certainly will be in SI units (i.e. in kilometers) - as is the case in your Full-scan screenshot which displays the same number correctly with the units kms !! So a few comments: - My pet hate is software that reports readings/measurements/transducer-outputs without units. If the number has no units then it is useless and it might as well not be displayed because it causes problems from misinterpretation - especially when the title says "Mileage" and the number is in kms !!
- What happens to the number if the vehicle does not use SI units (i.e. if the vehicle is NAR model)?
- Regardless of the answer to 2 above - perhaps another name might be more appropriate?

This is a typical setup and as you can see lots of users have input data so you end up with lots of different options, On Android is nice and clear (IMO) in IOS its very messy. You also end up with different labels (Body Type vs Vehicle Type) which makes it very hard to share coding across platforms.
And here is why you end up with differences so you need to use the same logic so both platforms show the same data
And lets not forget you cant update this stuff in IOS but you can in Android (still a lot of stuff to be done to get them in line with each other)
2/ Help file issues
Under the Other/Help menu you have a Contact us option (top right of screen) Select that and you get a list, one of the items is One click app request.
This takes you to the CAN AI Help function (which so far I have not seen learn anything) and it ask's you how can i help you.
Why does it not take you directly to obdeleven.proboards.com/board/379/click-apps-requests so that users can fill out (in the correct format) there request or do you support new request via the help function as well in which case why does it not have a dedicated screen to fill in the details. |

Description of Bug: Help file when looking for how to buy credits shows you how to buy credits via the app.
However you also sell these credits directly from your web site and they are cheaper on your web site than on the Apple App
Example
10 Credits IOS App £1.99, Android app £1.59 OBD11 web site £1.28
100 Credits IOS App £13.99, Android app £12.99 OBD11 web site £12.84
500 Credits IOS App £31.99, Android app £32.49 OBD11 web site £30.81
You help file should either be updated to show both options or just talk about your web site as this is cheaper.

Description of bug: obdeleven.proboards.com/post/46321User says they have not changed any coding at all. Just did a full back up of the car. Further they have found online that other people have had the same issue after doing a back up the same thing has happened.
They haven’t got the pro version so haven’t been playing with any coding. I have use a few apps when I first got the obd 11 haven’t changed any thing in months just thought I would scan the car to see if there was any faults. None found so I decided to do a back up then the pano roof got messed up

Description of bug: More missing data on IOS That has been released on Android Under info on IOS You get this screen As reported previously you cant schroll down to see the version number (yes you can get it from advanced ID but i should be able to see it on this screen. However the issue here is that when I look at Android As you can see there is an option under the ODX File to see what the latest version number is as well as your current one.

description of bug: cant log on via IOS Phone. Phone is connected to mobile and wifi and I can use Safari with no problems so internet connection in place. Have rebooted the phone and still wont let me log on. Tried to get user password resent and it comes up with error connection failed.
Just an update I was able to connect to help system CAN so connection is ok.
Further I said Can't connect to account with IOS You get usual we will get back to you within one day (all good) It then goes on to say that currently agents are out of working hours (wrong can you turn that off as I just sent the query) so I selected Im having some issues then I'm getting an error It then ask's me if I am using NextGen or FirstGen - as I am connected via the IOS Phone I would have thought that was a simple question for you to know the answer.

- Users can now select older vehicle database files (ODX files) for control units in order to access and interpret control unit data, that might have been removed from newer files (in eg. Battery capacity for Audi e-Tron);
