We don't have many MK5 R32's here in Jamaica. We have quite a few MK5 GTI's though 2.0TFSI. If I could get access to one eventually, I'd be happy to log channels 208 and 209 for you all. Friends in U.S.? There are lots of VR6 and R32 ...

Seriously would like to diag a camshaft position sensor and 208/209 is needed. Also checks timing chain stretch, which is needed on high mileage motors.
Please add support!

Hi Matthew, what type of "access" do you need? I know some guys with VCDS and R32 Mk V here. Please let me know, what you want to have. There is a major R32 meeting this weekend and I could ask and diskuss that.

Hi Matthew, what type of "access" do you need? I know some guys with VCDS and R32 Mk V here. One Point is missing: Channels 208 and 209 are very important for condition of camshaft timing chains. It is value 3 for bank 1 and bank 2 in each case The engine module #1 doesn't need any special password or "access / security code" some other modules. It appears that your car may use a different revision of the firmware that may have a different "channel" for these values. The best approach for your car is to use VCDS to do an export or backup all 255 channels and adaptations. Please select the CSV option. Two files will be generated in Windows. These would include the labels for each channel and their corresponding values. You may notice that for YOUR car it may have shifted away from the traditional 208 and 209 that you mentioned earlier based on the firmware revision. There is a BACKUP feature in OBDeleven, but I don't know how to actually view and export the contents of that backup.
