There is an app for this function.
If you want to know what the coding is just do a backup before and after running the app and do a compare and you will see what it has done.

Honest answer is I dont know but there is nothing in the app that talks about only for DSG.
On the assumption that this is an engine change (eg how the throttle responds) then it should be fine on Manual as well as Auto.
The following coding is for the Leon but may be the same as yours
With this mod, we can change the behavior of the throttle. Option B offers more linear acceleration without sudden deliveries. 1 - Module 44 - Power steering - Code (19249) 2 - Adaptation 3 - Driving profile switching Options: A - Gradual, controlled by time B - Directly, controlled by threshold value
