Hi All,

Very, very new to this Error Codes and Coding Business. I have a number of error codes and one in particular is confusing me: Memory Seat Control Module / steering column adjustment - Error Code 01964

The main issue is that I do not have these features on my car and believe this sight this error is occurring! So, I know I need to remove this feature in order for it to not error.

Software number: 4F0910793P
Software version: 0230
Hardware number: 4F0959792P
Serial number: e&Y000000000

Faults:
01964 - Memory Seat Control Module / steering column adjustment

So, I believe I need to remove the: +01024 = Seat Adjustment Front installed (PR-3PN) value from the channel as per: wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4F)_Control_Head_Front_(High)#Adaptation

However, I have no idea how to do this using the ODBEleven Next Gen device and App

Can someone please help re coding on this device

mrchubba: hi. I'm certainly not an expert on the Audi A6 and I've not tinkered with the pre- UDS control modules on the vehicle - but I reckon that the tweak is done like this:

Go to the module @ address hex07
Select Adaptation
Select Channel 001
Write-down the current value of this channel- let's say it's 16754
Since you want to remove the option, you need to subtract 01024 (not add as in the Ross-Tech link)
so 16754-01024=15730
Change the value to 15730
