Hi guys, new here and was hoping I could get some help from the pro's...
I have taken delivery of OBD Eleven Pro today and attempted a few tweaks to my car and also ran a scan... I have a few questions regarding some unsuccessful tweaks and the fault codes that showed up
Firstly, I couldn't find the option to enable the background lighting menu via the Apps? Can somebody show me how to do this? Is this even possible with obdeleven? Does it need to be long coded or is there somewhere else within the Apps menu that I can do this?
I also changed Mirror Light to ON so the puddle lights are meant to light up when mirrors fold/unfold but that didn't seem to work?
I also changed the lock acoustic sound to ON when locking and Unlocking the vehicle but again it didn't work? And after successfully applying the change via the Apps I have looked through the car menus but couldn't seem to find it anywhere to enable?
On the 7.5s - from research i know that in Individual mode if the Soundaktor (Engine Sound) is set to Eco - you do not get pops and burbles on Overrun. I changed the Soundaktor to 0% from Apps, since making this change I seem to be getting less pops and burbles in Individual mode even though the Engine Sound is set to Race? I don't know if this is just in my head but it seems less pronounced than before i switched the Soundaktor off? Can somebody explain this? Does the Soundaktor need to be ON in order to get pops and burbles?
All the above changes were made through Apps instead of long coding if that makes any difference?
When running a Scan i also got the following codes:
Adaptive Cruise Control - Database error value received - U112300 - Intermittent
Wheel Dampening - Right front level control sensor - C103515 - Static
Dashboard - Database error value received - U112300 - Intermittent
Driver assistance - Camera Malfunction - C110400 - Intermittent
LED Module Left - Supply for low beam - C11FD13 - Intermittent
LED Module Right - Supply for low beam - C11FD13 - Intermittent
Can anybody help with the above fault codes? Car is under VW Extended Warranty so is it worth booking in for them to get it looked at?
Car is a 2017 Golf R 7.5 in the UK
