Hello guys, I have the following reversing lights on my mk7 from 2014. Please keep in mind that this is the way i bought the car and I am not sure if there were any modification made. If this question has been asked before I am very sorry for re-posting, but I have this annoying error and I don't know how to get rid of it. When i turn on my full headlights I get a "check right tail light" error. I verified the reverse bulb and it's functional. Also, I change both of them just to be sure they are both new and functional. I still receive that error. When I scan the car with OBDeleven I have the following code: Right tail lamp bulb - Open circuit/shortcircuit to B+
Fault code B12BF15
Can you please help me figuring how to clear this error because this annoying error message shows up in my cluster and an orange triangle is visible all the time when the lights are on?
Should I try to change the reverse light with leds and then to code them with led code? Is that possible maybe the error will be gone? Which are the "Leutche" I have to verify/modify for this reverse lights? Hope you can shed some light on my issue and help me with this. Thanks guys in advance.

Hello adrianvw,
Thank you for your prompt response.
I have verified with my OBD the settings from my car and these are the exact settings from Leuchte28RFL LC11 and Leuchte29RFL RA64 you mentioned in your comment.
Should i try anything else or to verify Leutchte23SL HLC10 maybe?
Best regards!

Paulo: I'm very confused by your first post - you say that "When i turn on my full headlights I get a "check right tail light" error". Why have you concentrated your discussion and your diagnostic efforts on the reversing lights? Why do you believe that the reversing lights are illuminated when you "turn on the full headlights"?

Hello Don, Sorry for my bad English. I was referring to all the back lights...my expression was not that good It seems that the error for inner taillight for reverse appeared because it was used a led instead of bulb and the coding was used for a bulb. Now I set to led and the error dissapear. The reply from adrianvw provided helped me a lot to better understand the situation. Thank you again.

Paul: hmm- OK if you have used the wrong English word then your work below is also irrelevant I have verified with my OBD the settings from my car and these are the exact settings from Leuchte28RFL LC11 and Leuchte29RFL RA64 you mentioned in your comment. Also, Leutchte23SL HLC10 is irrelevant because it controls a lamp on the left side of the car (I assume your tail lights were factory fitted) Don
