Hi all, I just installed Euro LED tail lights on my 2017 GTI (North American version) with the wiring harness from DAP. After coding with OBD11 following the coding laid out by the instructions from DAP I got the LED working but now I got the following error on my head unit: Is it because i made a coding mistake and therefore it is throwing this error? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

wing: It's not possible to be precise from your picture if you have a coding, or wiring problem (or if the problem is in the new left-side fitting).
The easiest way (I suspect) to negate the the possibility of an error in coding is to check the DAP instructions against the records in your History facility on the OBD11 software. You only need to check the outer left side Leuchte-set (Leuchte20BR LA71) so it shouldn't be a difficult task
If the coding checks-out OK, the problem is obviously downstream of the central electrics module (i.e. wiring, or a connector in the harness)

Hi DV52, thank you for the pointers. Here are the coding that I changed in Leuchte20BR LA71: - Lasstyp 20 change to 32 - Alegemeine LED bis 12w
- Lampendefekbitposition 20 - 0
- Lichtfunktion A 20 - Klemme 30 (in the options I can only find Klemme 30G so I set to this instead)
- Lichtfunktion B 20 - Not Active (Nicht aktiv)
- Dimmwert AB20 - 127
- Lichtfunktion C 20 - Not Active (Nicht aktiv)
- Lichtfunktion E 20 - Not Active (Nicht aktiv)
When I scan for fault codes I get the following fault codes stored in Central Electrics section: One thing that has changed since yesterday is the fault that was displayed in the radio on the picture I previously posted is now gone and there are no more fault lights in the dashboard as well and also the tail light is working perfectly fine. I will double check the wiring to make sure it is all ok on the left side tomorrow.

Hi all, I have fixed the issue and it was due to the programming missed a code in Leuchte20BR LA71 where Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 20 value should be set to ZERO
After setting this the issue went away.
