dragan11o : MY17 A4 Avant is built on a Volkswagen Group MLBevo platform - whereas the cars on this part of the forum are MQB platform based. Your car is very different to MQB platform cars - For example, the Audi A3/S3 8V has a single BCM ([09]-central electrics module) and your vehicle uses two BCM modules: I know very little about MLBevo cars - perhaps you will get a more informed response to your question if you ask it on the A4 part of the forum

Hi, I got it yesterday in my 2017 g-tron. Control Unit 09 Security access code: 31347 Find: ZV Komfort Regenschliessen_ein_aus > Active Regenschliessen_art > Permanent Menüsteuerung regenschliessen > Active Comfort opening > ON Comfort closure > ON Find: Schiebedach SAD Komfort öffnen > ON SAD Komfort schlissen > ON Open the subsystem 6397_RLFS On byte 0, activate bit 1 and bit 2. Reset MMI (nav + radio + central button) and verify in the menu that the rain sensor is activated. That's all folks İ did all the above said commands but unable to reboot my discover pro. How to do it? İt has no physical buttons. I reset it via obd Dongle but still no Rain closing indicator

Can I enquire what conditions are needed for auto window close to work?
I had a 2013 A250 which would auto close the sunroof if you left it fully retracted, ignition was off, and rain was detected by the rain sensor. It would close the sunroof to tilt. Can’t recall 100% but I think it would close thr windows too.

Hello there, so I’m trying to go into central unit so I can long code my sunroof for auto rain detection. When I go into long coding, it tells me there is no item available. I see people saying you have to enter a code but I’m. It getting any option to enter a code. Am I doing something wrong? sh3rman: OK - so you need to separate the 2 x modules in your mind; the central electrics module is the Master module for what's known as "LIN communication" and the Rain/Light Sensor ( RLS) module in my screen shots that you included in your post is the Slave module.
So the 2 x modules have a master/slave relationship (OBD11 calls this a "Subsystem" relationship) and they are entirely separate modules.
The long-code changes needed for the auto-rain close tweak relate ONLY to the RLS module - no long-code changes are required to the central electrics module (which in any event DOES NOT have a long-code facility on your car - as you have said)

I activated everything, but the roof remains open, is there a way to make it close together with the crystals of the whole stain?

It's done like this: - go to central electrics module @ address hex09
- go to adaptation
- enter "sun" into search box and select sunroof
- navigate to SAD Komfort schliessen and change value to active
- if asked for a security code, enter 31347

edwards3 : For the long-code - change Byte 0, Bit 2 - so: - before the change, the long-code = 00006C,
- after the change, the long-code =04006C
Please be aware that this tweak has been problematic on many MQB platform cars. It seems that the success, or otherwise of the Auto Rain close facility is dependent on having the correct type rain-sensor. Lots of posts say that RLFS sensors won't work.
