Hi guys, back at it again, I need the login code for my parking brakes, normally I got a menu showing the codes and the first always worked for me, now I want to instal a new motor and the codes are gone... Of course I didn't wrote it down because it was always there 😂

So just an update I found out myself, apparently the system locks you out when there is a problem with the parking brakes... Wheter they are opened or closed, it does not matter, it locks you out!
So how to get around? Well not... Not without a code you don't have, the way it's done is via VCDS who requests the code from volkswagen via the Internet!
There is a last resort that volkswagen also told me, but you have to follow the steps exactly or it won't work
Disconnected NEGATIVE terminal from battery.. Wait 30 seconds
Put key in ignition don't start but contact must be on!
Push brake pedal Press the EPB button twice with a 3 second in between..
Release brake pedal and press again on the EPB button the system wil now soft reset (beware the error is still there)
If all goes well and the system sees everything is okay, it unlocks and is again acces able My new motor was accepted Then I cleared codes and via basic settings channel 10 I learned in the new motor
That's the only way if you don't own a expensive vag-com system
Good luck! 😊
