Yes we are working on it. Is there any idea how much longer before we can see something? Also, is there a list of hints that I can manually look at in the interim (outside of using the application)? I've been looking at the Ross-Tech site's limited list, but I'm noticing that some of their bits and bytes options do not match up with my ECU.

At this time we are concentrated on UDS control units adaptations, basic settings and other functions we plan to finish this until the end of this years and then we start to build long coding helper. As you see this app is still in beta stage but we working hard everyday to increase this system functionality. I hope that you understand us.

Thanks for the quick response. Does anyone else know if there is an external list of bit and byte options that I can look at in the interim? This application is a very effective alternative to Ross Techs VAG-COM tool.

Any updates on coding hints or what each bit controls? Which "chassis" are you referring to? It differs per module. I can only help out the MK5 & MK6 Golf owners and Audi A3 owners (using VCDS). You can also use Ross-Tech's Wiki page to help you greatly for ALL chassis

I have an 08 mk5 gti. I keep trying to match up what each bit controls with that of the Ross tech screen shots but sometimes they are different. I would like to know when you guys are releasing descriptions for each bit. Also how do I download and access the Ross tech helper LCODE.EXE and the "label" file??? I have the program but I am not sure what to do with it. Thank you

You would then using this to open the label files (having the *.*LBL extension). you would simply cop and paste your existing coding to see what happens in real-time. The label files are now being encrypted (for obvious reasons) so you would have to get the older versions of VCDS that didn't have this encryption (but may have less labels for your MK5. Give me the module you want to code, and take and post my screenshots

OBDeleven is great! But please, add "Long Coding Helper" (1/0 switch between standard Long coding and Textual Long coding) for Audi A6 4F. Its very popular model, and I was very disappointed that cant easy coding my car.

Hold on there: Do you actually get labels for your car? You made it sound as though you already do and just need to switch between text and bits&bytes.

This is ALL you need to see in conjunction with the OBDeleven app.

Do not quite understand. I have PRO version of program. When connected to friend's Golf 2015 (or 14, dont remember exactly), I see "text-bits switch" on top in coding window. But when connected to my A6-4F 2010, this switch is lost.

Thanx for help. But. In VCDS I can simple coding blocks via "Long coding helper". If VCDS allow use Long coding helper, I think that it can be implemented by OBDeleven. And I think that it must be implemented. I hope that developers will work about it.

Being a VCDS owner myself, I know what you mean. In my opinion, it boils down to time and labour costs for the developers. For a single chassis, there are numerous combination of modules that can be had. For a developer to sit down and label every one of them (even for markets that they don't have access to) would be time-consuming and costly. This proposed cost or attention to detail by having a fully-labeled long coding helper is justified in Ross-Tech's price tag. OBDeleven's affordable price tag is what most likely got you and several others interested in this solution in the first place, hence the compromise was made. For an experienced user, the lack of a labeled long coding helper isn't needed if one looks at the Ross-Tech Wiki page with the labels for each controller. This strengthens the value of your OBDeleven device (since Ross-Tech will usually keep the information posted up to date anyway). The long coding that seems to be done appears to the UDS: obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/128/long-coding-uds

Where i found security access code for my car?

Where i found security access code for my car? The access codes can be found on the Ross-Tech's Wiki page. Each module has its own access code. You would have to state the chassis and the module that you are looking the access/security code for so that we can assist you.

You need to answer my question. Which chassis are you doing this for (including year)? Also which control module are you trying to access? The access code may have changed for the various modules. The access code in your screenshot doesn't match any that I am familiar with unless you are referring to the instrument cluster (for the 1K chassis and newer) wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1K)_Instrument_Cluster

I'll do a video recording of that module later today, and upload to YouTube, as I'm sure others will also be in the same situation that you are in as well.

Any luck in releasing long coding hints? Or a guide where it's explained the differences between how to long code with VAGCOM instructions on Obd eleven? There's a whole list of things I can do for my car (Audi S4 B8) but it's a bit different from the directions on how to do it with a VAGCOM. I think a video of a developer doing live long codings(based on VAGCOM directions) and different examples done on obd eleven can get me going on my journey to fully change things on my car.

I keep forgetting to record something and upload to YouTube. Deutsche Auto Parts did a lovely tutorial on YouTube sometime ago. I'll find it and post it here for you.
