- Select Air Conditioning (address hex08)
- Select Coding
- Pull down screen until you find Store recirculation air setting for terminal 15 off and select
- check Save radio button
Here's a set of screen shots for the procedure above
Don
PS: Automatic recirculation is the process where by sensors in the mk7 determine whether there are pollutants in the outside air (mainly petrol and diesel fumes). If the air quality sensor which forms part of the climate control system detects these pollutants, the sensor decides whether the pollutant can be accommodated safely by continuing to draw outside air into the cabin, or whether it is necessary to switch the air conditioner to recirculation mode. More detailed information about this function can be found HERE

Is there any setting to turn the recirculating light on so I know it has come on automatically? My MK2 Tiguan does not seem to do this.

^^^This. Like the fan speed being enabled in Auto. My old Honda would show you when the recirc was on or off while in Auto mode. I am wondering if my Atlas has this sensor/ability to do auto recirc?
