So after buying my OBD11 Pro around 5 months ago and accumulating 800 free points I finally got around to plugging the dongle into my car (VW Mk7 Golf).
Despite the Lenovo TB-7304F connecting via bluetooth (using the code 1234), when I press the connect button on the App it won't connect.
I disconnected and then reconnected the bluetooth but this did not help and it still won't connect.
I only have a solid red light on my dongle. No other colour was illuminated at any point.
Just in case there was an problem with my port i plugged the dongle into my wifes car (VW Mk2 Tiguan) and this also only produced a solid red light.
Does this mean my dongle is faulty? It sat in its box for the entire time I've had it ...

neoalius on my dongle I have Red and Yellow lights, you need to look underneath them and you will see it. @theblondfella you say you can pair to the device but I presume you mean that you cant connect to the actual car and see stuff. If that is the case first question when you are doing this do you have good internet connection (otherwise it wont work). Second question do you have your bluetooth on your car hidden (as this has caused issues before Last have you cleared the cache on the app on your android phone / tablet
