Hi I want my halogen drl lights to stay on all the time so they never turn off
For example when I put my low beams on the drl lights go off
Is there anyway of changing this so they stay on all the time no matter what setting the lights are on ?
Thank in advance

tim: The short answer is Yes, but you may be causing problems for on-coming drivers at night.
Fact is that the spread pattern (called the fitting "lumenaire") and light illumination levels for DRLs are designed specifically for daylight conditions. Down here (in the very deep south), our halogen DRLs are switched on during nighttime, but the illumination level is throttled-back to 31% so as not to blind on-coming drivers.

^^ tim - it really depends on how the Leuchte-set for the DRLS is programmed in your country. Please post-up your settings for Leuchte4TFL LB4. Go to the Central electrics module, search for "LB4" and either take a picture, or note-down the 19 x adaptation channels for this Leuchte-set.
Once I have these settings, we can work-out a way to change the Leuchte-set Don

I need it too for NONE LED XENON lights. Both lights on, DRL BULB DIMMED with low beam. Both lights on - 100% with high beam. i.imgur.com/qXr8jNq.jpg

tim: OK - not having a PRO version shouldn't be a problem in this instance because the changes needed don't happen in long coding part of the module (these changes are made to adaptation channels). Do this: Select Central electrics module Select Adaptation Search for 4TFL and select Leuchte4TFL LB4 You should then see the "Leuchte-set" for the left DRL (there are 19 x adaptation channels in the Leuchte-set). Either take a picture of this screen (you will need to take 2 x pictures for the full set), or note-down the setting values Paste the information on a post here

Set the B5 --> Fehrnlicht (High beam) and it works. Try C5 , D5 but nothing... Need: DRL - 100% (1 light) [done] Low beam - Both lights on, DRL BULB DIMMED (let say 30%) [need] High beam - Both lights on - 100% [done]

Thank in advance >Select Central electrics module >Select Adaptation (OBD11 PRO) Search for TFL
select Leuchte4TFL LB4 (LEFT) B4 > Abblendlicht links (LOW BEAM LEFT) CODE IT with green button select Leuchte5 TFL RB32 (RIGHT) B5 > Abblendlicht rechts (LOW BEAM RIGHT) CODE IT with green button I tried it on daylight, is awesome. But at night I think it's illegal. (I set it to Hight beam + DRL) BTW: you can dim it Dimmwert AB: 5-31 should be ok.

Now working over GH1 light on - DRL 100% Both lights on, DRL BULB DIMED 30% with low beam. Both lights on - 100% with high beam.
PS: Dimmwert AB: 127 (max) can BLOW UP the Standard Light Bulb, only with LED replacement bulb. Dimmwert AB: 100 for Standard Light Bulb

Need: DRL - 100% (1 light) [done] Low beam - Both lights on, DRL BULB DIMMED (let say 30%) [need] High beam - Both lights on - 100% [done] hmm: OK - not sure where this tweak is up to, but my suggested solution based on your screenshot above is to just change Lichtfunktion E 5 and Lichtfunktion E 4 from Standlicht vorn (Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht) to Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht;. Begrenzungslicht). Nothing else - that's it!!!! Don

Yes, this is the easy way. But my solution is better for me: DRL: 100% High Beam + (DRL: 100%) Parking Light: 40% Low beam + (DRL: 30 %)
