It seems there is no way to delete history and that even if you delete the car it seems the history will reload from the servers based on the VIN. This just adds cluster to the screen (yes I know you can filter) but it would be nice to be able to delete bits and clean it up when for example I do something then undo it - I don't need those records.

Personally I don't use the history very much other than when i have changed something and its caused an issue (so its all current).
I would however stress I would want by default that you cant delete history because once its gone its gone and you can bet somebody will delete the wrong thing and then be asking how do i get back from this.
Personally I export it all to Excel anyway and remove the unwanted items if required, the screen would not be used very often.

Providing the delete has a confirmation I think it is safe enough - after all everything else we use in our digital lives has the ability to delete and permanently loose data - photos, emails etc. etc.

i would still want it as an option, spent many hours sorting out stuff that people deleted after warning messages (Multiple) that they did not mean to delete.

inacho yes and no, the backup only shows you the state of the car at the point of the backup (and i use them a lot) but they do not show you what you did to get to that point and or what you did to get there (eg did you use an app, long coding, basic settings etc)
Anyway its not a big deal, as I say as a user i can understand why you want this but for me I want it as is so we just need an option to turn on and off this function because based on this forum over the last year people will delete stuff and they will not have taken a backup.

I very much think that a Delete History option would be a useful feature and look forward to seeing it introduced very soon.

Dear All, after several e-mails I need to presume OBD11 is selling user`s data. Neither they answer directly to my request to delete my car data nor they answer directly to my question what will happen to my data after deleting the account. It`s an absolutely NOGO to disable the self management of personnel data. In the moment I´m not aware if updated european rules allow OBD11`s practise but from my point of view nobody needs a system dealing in this way. Br

goery i would suggest you delete you account with OBD Eleven and this Forum,
Sell your dongle (if you trust it is safe to do so).
Read the latest T&C and Privacy data setup on the last release and if appropriate TELL OBD11 to delete you details and your Car Details.
Go purchase another application that you can confirm up front will protect the data as you would wish it to be protected.
This is a User forum so you wont get an answer to your question here, you have alerted users to your concerns but there is nothing else that can happen via this forum.
From the Forum perspective (which holds data about you controled by ProBoards) I am able (if you wish it) to delete your account and also all of your post's (again if that is what your want) or leave some or all of the post's.
Sorry we cant help but that is not the point of this forum.
