Is there any coding to see the current tire pressure on the monitor like Bmw? upload pic

mauigp84: Hi. Short answer is NO - alas! Longer answer: the Tire-Pressure-Monitoring-System (TPMS) on the mk7 doesn't measure tire pressures in any of the 4 x wheels as a standard factory option. Some VAG cars do this - these cars use individual pressure sensors that are installed in the caps on the tire valve which communicate wireless to a central receiving module.
on the mk7 however, TPMS relies on a rotation sensor on each wheel which is part of the ABS sysytem. In theory, the rotation speed (it's actually, the angular velocity) of each wheel will alter depending on circumference of the wheel. When the wheel is deflated, it's circumference reduces and therefore the rotational speed of the wheel also drops. TPMS doesn't measure actual rotational speed, it measures the relative difference in rotational speed of all four tires. The driver set's the "reference" rotational speed when the TPMS button is pressed and from then-on, TPMS simply calculates the difference measurement
So- that's a long winded way of saying that it's not possible to measure tire pressure as in your picture. Of course, it is possible to retro-fit an actual pressure measuring system on your mk7 that will provide the information (the MIB has necessary smarts)

Hi Don.
Really useful information that.
Do you know if it's possible to find which sensor triggered an alert when it goes off either using the app or car it's self ?
Thanks

^^^ yes, later versions mk7s were able to identify which wheel was problematic - read thisDon

T Terran: I had this same conversation with a colleague on another forum a long time ago - but I can't find my response (old age and an over-fondness for alcohol has killed many brain cells -alas)
I think that my answer related to the setting in the adaptation channel Tire pressure monitoring display which can be found in the ABS module @ address hex03. The name of the channel sounds about correct - why not try experimenting

Byte 27 bit 4 in the abs should enable the indiction of what tire is losing air.
This does now show exact pressures (thats an entirely different system with special valves on the tires and a additional Control unit.
When tpms kicks in, there should be an fault in the log indicating what and where, too
