Im so done and very pissed at the moment .... Ive given you guys so many chances resolving the issue and clearing up the hassle you brought me through.
I´ve bought the first gen device back in 2019 with lifetime VAG Pro and it worked until about a week ago, suddenly I couldn´t read my control units anymore since latest firmwareupdate of the obd11 adapter.
Basically what happens is, after i connect it via Bluetooth i can scan my car, it shows me errors and then at the end says "Error saving History".
From there on I cant open any control units and read them, cant delete errors or do anything else with it.
So i thought my app was bugged and reinstalled it and deleted the cache first, logged back in again, tried again, no luck.
Then I contacted support via chat told them the same as above, first thing he askes me to reinstall the app ... Dude, I just did that and told you...
Anyway, did that once again, tried again, oh what a surprise, didn´t work, told him. No Response for hours so i shut down my pc and went home (was still at work).
Next day opened the chat again to see if i get a response, chat is gone, so i contact them again, same description.
Next guy asks me at least for my mailadress associated with the account and a recording of the connection process, did just that, next day he gets back and asks me for the invoice which i gave him.
Suddenly he tells me my device seems to be broken and since warranty is over i need to buy a new one, as trusting as i am i did that and was hoping for it to resolve my issue.
Surprise again, it didn´t, same issue, new next gen device, so i get in contact via chat again (same chat history btw)
Now he tells me to unplug the device, reinstall the app AGAIN, hold the phone closer to the device (dude im crawling in the foot room already).
Did all that which didn´t help of course, then he asks me to test on another car, yeah sure Im that rich to have another VW in my garage as spare, the old adapter literally worked before the Firmwareupdate so it cant be my car cuz nothing changed there.
So now I´m ruling out my phone as the issue by myself, tried grabbing another phone (I work in IT so I could lend me one).
Now the "new" phone tells me password and Mail doesn´t match which can´t be because I literally just logged in with it on my old phone.
Tried Resetting my password, got the mail, when i put in my new password and try "Resetting it" it says "Account already exists" .... WTF of course it exists im trying to reset my password ....
Went online on my pc and changed the password there, still couldn´t login on the new phone, so I connect my account to facebook for quicker access.
Oh look suddenly i get a proper message on the new phone saying i maxed out 3 devices and ive to reset my password to reset the device limit (which i cant or clearly didnt work....)
After several tries to login with the correct password my account suddenly got locked due to "too many invalid attempts".
So now im stuck with 2 working adapters, 60 bucks stolen out of my pocket, support refusing to help me properly and me being very oopsing pissed about how you treat customers here, especially after YOUR adapter /programming is the issue and not my car.
