I have a new RS3 Sedan with MMI software version 1106. The App to disable VIM clearly states it does not support either 1117 or 1106. Does anyway know how I can disable VIMm for these new software versions?

Did you find a solution? same problem here. Version 1106. Audi A3 8V 2017. The app to enable VIM doesn't work.

minovg2 being pedantic but the app tells you that is does not support version 1106 so its not that it does not work but it does not support this version.

See my answer here forum.obdeleven.com/post/13966, my belief is that Audi (and the rest of the VAG Group) have removed this facility from the coding base. I have seen the same issue on the VCDS site but if anybody has a work around do share.
