Hi guys. Today I made modifications with OBDeleven on module 09 and I made some mistakes that caused functions to disappear, but luckily yesterday I made a backup. As you can see, the coding of module 09 has changed. How can I change the 0 to 2? Regards.
MODEL 09
OLD: 00001842C24102FB4BE44000010403081000000000000000000000000000
NEW: 00001842C24100FB4BE44000010403081000000000000000000000000000

Hi vrejas66 That's pretty simple. We just need to check which bit has changed. For this we can use my coding compare tool which gives us the output shown below. Hex value 1: 00001842C2410 0FB4BE44000010403081000000000000000000000000000 Hex value 2: 00001842C2410 2FB4BE44000010403081000000000000000000000000000 | Hex value 1 | Hex value 2 | Byte No | HEX | BITS 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 | HEX | BITS 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 | 06 | 00 | 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 | 02 | 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 |
In order to reverse your change you must set/activate Bit 1 in byte 06 in module 09. Hope this helps

My problem is that I don't know how to get to the right place to change Bits to module 09.

Ok no problem
1) Select your car and go to control modules 2) Select module 09 3) Select Long coding 4) If you do not see bytes and bits hit the little 01 toggle button in the top right 5) Then you should be able to select byte 06 and change bit 1

When I have free time I'll try it.

Great, I got it and everything is correct 👌.
I had read the explanations about Bytes and Bits but I couldn't understand it and thanks to your simple explanation I have already understood that they go in pairs of 2 digits.
Thank you and happy new year 2024. ☺️
