Hello,
I am trying to code that the DRL’s are on only when light knob is put in “Auto”, and they are off completly when the knob is put in “off”.
When i try to access central electrics - hex09 - security access - the code 31347 is not valid, and it wont open.
Is there a way to find out a new code ?
I have obd11 with pro package if this means anything.
The car as Audi RS3, 8v, late 2019, model year 2020

hmm......... I'm very surprised!! An MY19 Audi RS3 should be built with a MQB platform and 31347 IS definitely the correct security code for the central electrics module on this car. My hunch is that the reason why 31347 isn't being accepted by this car is due to previous attempts to input incorrect codes. MQB platform modules are very unforgiving if you attempt to input incorrect security codes. It depends on the module, but if more than 2, or 3 incorrect attempts are made - the module will lock-out and it will no longer accept security codes - even if you subsequently enter the correct security code. If the module has locked-out, it won't matter if the ignition key is cycled, the module will remain locked-out.
The ONLY method to reset a locked-out module is to cycle the car's ignition and to allow an internal clock to count-down. Again, it varies with the module, but generally 20 minutes is needed with the ignition-ON to reset a locked-out module. You can check if a module is locked-out by selecting the module - then select Live data - then select Security Access number of invalid keys. If the number displayed for this channel is more than 2, or 3 - the module will be locked-out. When the count-down timer resets the module, the number will be zero and the module will accept new entries again Don
