Hello, I installed the TPMS directly on my A3, I followed the tutorial to the letter for the MQB chassis. Tuto: Tuto tpms directÉtape 1: Module 19: module actif 65 - Pression des pneus Enregistrer le Coding DISABLE TPMS INDIRECT: Module 17: Instruments Codage long: Octet 4, Bit 0 > set 0 (TPMS indirect off) Étape 2: Visualisation de la pression des pneus dans le tableau de bord : Module 17: Instruments Codage long: Octet 4, Bit 0 > set 1 (Tire Omtrek) Stay on 0 !! Octet 3, Bit 7 > set 1 (active wheel speed error counter) Octet 11, Bit 2 > set 1 (TPMS info (BAP) installed) Étape 3: Module 03: ABS Codage long: Octet 27, Bit 4,5 en 6 > set 0. (was before 1) Octet 28, bit 7 > set 0. (was before 1) Étape 4:
Module 5F: Information in the virtual cockpit,
Code d’accès 20103
Adaptations:
Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2: Tire_pressure_system_0x07 > activer
Tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus
Changer 'Bus de données de suspension' > 'Extension de bus de données'
Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2:
menu_display_rdk > activer.
menu_display_rdk_standstill > NON activé.
menu_display_rdk_over_threshold_high > activer.
The direct TPMS works well but I have an error in module 17: incorrectly coded clapulator U101400 and the direct TPMS is not displayed on the VC but in the on-board computer... Does anyone know where my problem is coming from? THANKS

It's not clear from your instructions - but when you say "Octet 4, Bit 0 > set 1 (Tire Omtrek) Stay on 0" - you should mean Byte 4, Bit 0 > set 0 (Tire Omtrek) Stay on 0 !!

I simply copied the tutorial but yes it is of course 0
But I must miss a configured car The tutorial is for a Golf 7 Me it is for an A3, does something change for the virtual cockpit?

I haven't checked each of the 160 individual software switches between the VC version and the normal clock-dial version of the hex17 module - but for the 3 x changes for this tweak, yes the VC dashboard is EXACTLY the same!!
Maybe post-up details of the particular hex17 module in this car including the long code string

Sorry I didn't understand,
Here is the copy hex17: 04ED08507E8C00080385EE045000000000000000

hmm............ OK if the long-code string on Module 17 on this car (which I think is in France) is 04ED08507E8C00080385EE04500000000000000 - then the set-up is like this:
Byte Hex Binary 00 04 00000100 01 ED 11101101 02 08 00001000 03 50 01010000 04 7E 01111110 05 8C 10001100 06 00 00000000 07 08 00001000 08 03 00000011 09 85 10000101 10 EE 11101110 11 04 00000100 12 50 01010000 13 00 00000000 14 00 00000000 15 00 00000000 16 00 00000000 17 00 00000000 18 00 00000000 19 00 00000000
Remember that Binary numbers are read from right-to-left, so Bit 00 is the right-most digit and Bit 07 is the left-most digit.
Notice Byte 03 =hex50=01010000. I've highlighted Bit 7- which is currently set to 0.
Now, look again at your first post - which says
Module 17: Instruments Octet 3, Bit 7 > set 1 (active wheel speed error counter) When this Byte is correctly set Byte 03 =hexD0=11010000

Hello
I have direct TPMS installed in my A3 and everything works fine. Here is how the coding mentioned by Don looks like on my side. As you can see the last (7th) bit, called "Direct TPMS Installed", in byte 3 is selected. I hope it will help you somehow. Good luck

There was an error actually correct But I still don't have my tire pressure on the virtual cockpit except that I have it in the mmi Currently my code is this: 44EF09D07E9C00080385FE045000001000000000 This story is driving me crazy, it works for everyone except me... Attachments:

Maybe a stupid question, but assuming that all your coding is correct, did you switch your Virtual Cockpit to use "Sport displays" as shown in this video?

Can you provide the screenshots from the OBD11 app for the module 17 and bytes 3, 4 and 11 for reference? I am sure you already did it many times, but maybe you could double check again all the coding changes. If I were you I would also try to understand which coding change caused module 17 error. Maybe you could reverse all the changes for 17 to the original values and then change them again, step by step to see when the error will occur. BTW what VC HW/SW do you have? What TPMS module do you use 5Q0 or 8S0?

I put everything back to original and redid the coding.
I no longer have any errors, but I still don't have the tire pressure on the virtual cockpit, on the other hand it works well on the MMI
My hardware version is H16 VC software is 0066, is that what you need?
