Hi
I might be jumping the gun here ... I made an account when ordering my OBD device. I haven't received it yet but put the app on my tablet and phone. I tried to sign in with the account but it did not recognise it.
I can still log into the website ok. I must be doing something wrong..
Help please.

I asked on the live chat about this... you have to create a separate account for the app.. the one I setup to buy this scanner on the website is not the one to use.. once I made a separate account I was able to get into the app ok
I also learned on the chat that my Nextgen and the 100 credits I bought with it, will not allow me to register a battery for my Polo (when i get around to changing it) there is no app specific to my Polo to allow me to do it. I need a Pro plan to unlock that feature...
I lost out by not buying that combo in the first place.. cheaper together.

If you are not changing your battery just yet then you don't need the pro account till then.
As far as i am aware there is no app on any car for battery change (its a bit to complicated for the app I think) but its easy to do via coding.

update on my app and account mentioned above.. This might help someone in the future.
looking back it was obvious but I was following online chat advice. I did get my device working as they advised by using another account but it all went pear shaped when i tried to redeem the credits i purchased.
I redeemed them but they never appeared on the app. I asked support about this with all the details of the advice I had been given; being told you need a different account etc but that was ignored in the reply I got today; they just said the credits are redeemed successfully on your account (website dashboard) which they were.
I was in them middle of a long reply asking them to read the email again and the problem I had emailed them about when I thought I'll just try my web account on the app again; can't do any harm. I logged out of the working account with no credits and logged in using the web account where i bought device and credits. Low and behold the d**m thing worked immediately and with the credits in my profile.
I sbadped the email reply I was working on; not worth bothering with.
Why my original attempt to log in with my original account details failed and led me down a wrong path, I have no idea. I was meticulous entering the same details of my account but was rejected; more than a few times.. hence the subsequent wild goose chase.
So you CAN use your original OBDEleven account for the Nextgen device after all. just keep trying.
