Hello, for my 2017 audi a3 8VA car is it possible to activate the emergency brake lights function? If so, how can you code? Thanks

AFAIK, emergency braking on MQB platform cars (like your A3 8V) is embedded into what Audi call the "NBA" function.
Now, my German language skills ain't good (I wish it was better) - but my uneducated guess is that NBA = NotBremsAnzeige = Emergency Brake Indicator.
So, this tweak is simply the task of finding and activating the adaptation channels that reference the term "NBA". There are 2 x NBA related channels on MQB platform cars and both can be found in the module that lives @ address hex09 on the CAN network
Try this: - Select central electrics module
- Select Adaptation
- Enter "Heck" into search box and select Aussenlicht_Heck
- Change Notbremsanzeige NBA > active
- If OBD11 asks for a security code - use 31347
- Go back to Adaptation screen
- Enter "Blinker" into search box and select Außenlicht_Blinker
- Change Notwarn_blinken_NBA_Phase_2 >active
- Exit OBD11 software
I've not done this tweak, but I understand that to operate the NBA function, the car must be traveling at a significant speed AND the stopping process must be very aggressive!! So be VERY careful if you test the NBA function (particularly, if you are using a second car to check the brake-light operation)
