Hi,
Is there or could you make an app which remembers the driver profile selected?
Or is any longcoding available?
I bought a OBD11 device yesterday and am waiting for delivery.
This is the feature I mis and would like to have as it is very annoying that it resets every time the car is switched off.

There are a lot of cases why it’s always reset.
Safety for Driver: for example when your wife starts the car and don’t know which mode is set, she might crash while accelerating.
Safety for engine: Especially at cold start high torque in sport mode will harm the engine.
Safety for DSG: At cold start high torque will harm the transmission.
The emissions will be saved always high, so when you have the check from Government you might have problems, because the emission standard will not match with the high Information from manufactor. For Sport mode.
The fuel consumption will give false calculation.
So they stopped in year 2018 the function to safe driver profile.
It is on every car brand. Here it is the EU directives.

If it’s a general directive that could explain it. The arguments don’t apply though on an electric car like the Born. There is no transmission, no emissions, consumption is calculated and updated continuously, no notable difference in acceleration (except eco mode probably). |

Is the Born also resetting into comfort mode after turning of the car? I have the same problem with my Cupra Ateca.

Can’t understand on an electric car that you can’t select range mode without it resetting to comfort mode every time you restart.
This would be a very popular App if it could be done.
