Good day everyone, I am new to the OBDeleven, this forum and just picked up an 2016 Audi Q5. I've been playing around with my OBDeleven Pro and it's been great! Loving the tweaks whether it be from long coding or one click apps. I was curious about the NAR to EUR retrofit and realized it requires a replacement of actual tailights so I didn't proceed. As I continued my search, I came across a post on AudiWorld where a guy found a way to convert his US Spec tailights to behave like Euro lights --> www.audiworld.com/forums/q5-sq5-mki-8r-discussion-129/different-look-your-tail-lights-2884188/page4/ <-- However, his instructions are for ACDS. Through the adaptation settings, I've been able to locate the channel to find the value which seems to align with his US Spec Codes but I don't know where I would look to change / update the the ROW code value. For example, he stated: Channel # – US Spec Codes – ROW Codes Channel: 195 – 51206 – 5 Channel:196 – 51238 – 37 Channel:197 – 51206 – 12 Channel:198 – 51238 – 44 In OBDeleven, I access Comfort Settings (64) --> Adaptation --> enter channel 195 --> enter login 16017 --> then I see 51206 pop up as the value but I don't know where I'd enter that 5. Using OBDeleven, does anyone know where I'd be able to update that ROW code value or know what it means? Sorry if this is a known thing but I searched high and low before creating this thread. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

jsparxx : Hi. See the video below - it explains how to change a value on an adaptation channel. Unfortunately it was made for the now obsolete GUI - but the process is exactly the same for the new screens .

Thank you Don!
Now, I just need need to understand what they mean by ROW code and where that secondary value might go in OBDeleven 🤔. Unless I'm supposed to replace the US Spec value with ROW code one... Hmm.

hmm........seems obvious to me albeit I have never done this tweak The list says: Channel # – US Spec Codes – ROW Codes Channel: 195 – 51206 – 5 Channel:196 – 51238 – 37 Channel:197 – 51206 – 12 Channel:198 – 51238 – 44
So for example for Channel # = Channel 195, you have said you see the 51206 in the "value" box (see 0:45 in the video). Simply click on "new value" and follow the video to change to 5 to make the code equal RoW (Rest of World).

My apologies.
For some reason I was never notified of the response so I am just seeing this now.
Now, I understand what you mean. My bad. I didn't fully understand before. So, it seems I am supposed to replace the US code with the RoW code. Got it! I thought there was another setting somewhere.
I'll give it a try but I'll make a back up first.
Looking at the videos, it would be nice if this would work!
Thanks again! I really appreciate your help.

There is OBDeleven coding for older version of Q5 (2016) to coding US to ROW taillights (change lights to EU with amber turn signal) but I don't know it will be useful for new models from 2018... For models from 2018-2021 I found info that only VCP (Vag Can Pro) is required for setting proper functionality, and possible at this moment, but may be there will be some translating from ACDS useful if somebody know where can find it for models from 2018 ? So at this moment I made hardware change - dismount US taillight and installed ROW with amber turn signals. But still needs recoding (separate amber turn signals from break red - stop blinking by red break when turn). At this moment its looks like this - turn amber signal blink together with brak (only jpg): But should be like on this clip red running lights on and amber turn blinking separately:
