What was your coding before you did the change.
Can we see the Adaption changes and how did you do the Basic setting change (did it show Internal Measured Values in the drop down list)

I seem to recall that VCDS Also has a history function (dont have it so cant confirm).
The coding instructions you show have different setup according to how your car started life and that is the only place I would look to ensure its coded as expected.
Have you never done a backup on you vehicle using OBD11 or VCDS.
Final point do you get the same error if you scan using VCDS.

I seem to recall that VCDS Also has a history function (dont have it so cant confirm). Ron: Correct!! OP should go to the folder C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug on the laptop. The folder will contain 2 x files named CodingLog.CSV and AdpLog.CSV for changes made to long-code and adaptation channels respectively. Open these files with a application like MS Excel. Incidentally- what ever happened to our pleas for OBD11 to provide an option for exporting flat-files? I have no idea why the VOLTAS guys/gals wrote software that delivers the current crazy format for Back-up files. I guess that it looks pretty if there are only a few records - but a real APITA to do anything meaningful on modern cars (especially if user makes lots of changes).
Someone @ VOLTAS must have a sense of humor to think that parsing their formats into a usable form is fun (in the 21st century - it's actually very inefficient and entirely unnecessary IHMO)! Don

My personal view is they only work on show stoppers and quick wins based on the number of old bugs that have not been fixed.
Sorry my grumpy old man face is showing again.
