Hello,
my 2017 A6 Avant 4g came with the audi sound system installed. The speaker output signal was distorted though, so I changed 5F Byte 11 to external Sound System booster. Now the signal is linear and sounds great.
I have a fault though, which tells me the radio isn’t coded correctly.
I’ve changed Bytes 4 and 5 to 00 since speakers are handled by my external amp but it’s complaining about a lot of bytes.
Do I have to live with the fault codes or can someone tell me what it expects? I don’t even have Bytes that go that far.
