I have been using OBD for three years now. Went through tens of adaptations and modifications but somehow I was never brave enough to try out Audi engine mod.
Perhaps I was afraid serious errors reported by other users. Only few days ago I decided to try it out.
I have to say this is a game changer...
What a smooth throttle response and dynamic but gentle response. Also when manouvering at low speeds (parking) it so much much better. No errors at all, I run checks few times after using ACC.
I'd say this is the best adaptation you can ever make to your VW.
It it also very very different to driving profile switchover which is nowhere near the Audi mod.

Hey man! So I have a 2017 Passat do you think these mods would also work for my car? I’ve done some pretty crazy research on this and literally nobody seems to care about passats 😂 please help

You can always go back to Seat/Skoda/Volkswagen mode with one click. The car really behaves nicely and the ride is more refined and dynamic. My car has a 2.0 tdi 150bhp with DSG. |

Hey! So I am stuck in a rut right now bud! Are you using iOS or Android? I have iOS and it seems our menus are completely different! Firstly, the access code you provided is an option but it will not let me choose. Also, When clicking on adaptations it brings up a screen asking me to choose a channel from 0-255, I’ve been scrolling throwing some of them and some have blank “live data’s” and others have descriptions on them. I’m so confused right now please help me understand what I am doing differently.

The issue of this mod is that both settings and database of the application must be in English!
That's why it didn't work for me. I had everything in Italian language.
May sound crazy but I managed the mod this way 😅😅😅

Still working perfectly. Two months ago I remapped my Passat so now I have 190BH versus original 150. Totally different car.
I did changed to VW engine mode for few minutes at some stage to see if the improvement in throttle handling was just my imagination and I couldn’t believe what a difference it makes. I switch quickly back to Audi engine mode and not planning to touch it again.

I have an Passat B8 3G5, 2.0TDI 150HP CRLB. In my control modul 1 In byte00 I have 5 possibilities:Audi, VW, Volkswagen/Seat/Škoda, Volkswagen/Seat/Škoda and Audi. Which Audi I have to use?

Hi!! Somebody trying it too? pp2414, it´s all working without error codes (ACC, line assist, etc)?? I´m affraid to those errors telling on forums... I have a Passat Variant 2016 TDI 190 DSG.

Warning error lights shows only during switch its absolutely normal. The moment you start the engine again they disappear. If for whatever reason they are still showing as intermittent errors list in OBD eleven you would be able to clean them without reoccurring.
Also if for whatever reason you want to go back to VW engine mode (selling your car etc.) you will be able to do it without a problem.
You will never go back to laggy throttle response again...

Ok... I understand, some errors appears when the value is changed, same as battery is reconnected, right? When drive some minutes they dissapears and/or can be cleared by OBDeleven. It's correct?
