Hello All,
I want to change my AID Gauges from standaard to 280 km GTI / GTD ore 320 Km.
if I change the odometer from 260 to higher, has this effect on the original speed km, or is there a deviation.
So when i drive 150 km hour on my stock AID Will this be the same when i change this to 280 ore 320.
And my last guestion, is about the virtual cockpit color, Gold, Red and Bleu. verry strange is my car stay on Gold, but i have bleu color.
is there a way to change this setting on adaptions ore vcds.

The speed should be the same no matter what the dials that are displayed As for colour, if you do the colour selection mod you’ll be able to change the gold back to blue, or even green, red, yellow or pink

Hello vwjap,
Thanks for the answer, but i have use the app 10 credits to change the color. So when i go back stock en open the virtual cockpit color my color on the app stays at Gold, but everthing is bleu.
With the app 10 credits on my car i have option gold, red en bleu.
No green, yellow ore pink.
Can i change this with section adaptations because every time it cost 10 credits

You did reset the radio (go to reset, then lights, then reset background lighting, I think)? Also you went in the “background lights” menu and change the colour?

Hi, about the scale change/max speed number change, what do you need exactly to do this mod? The white device or the black device? And what plan? Or can you just by the credits without using a plan? I've made my own thread/question here: forum.obdeleven.com/thread/19168/change-gauge-virtual-cockpit-skoda because mine is a 2022 Skoda Kamiq but i guess it's the same... Thanks in advance for your help.

May be different for a 22 (you may have the mk2 aid), but to get the higher speed you change the tube version to the R Both devices do this Basic does it via a app and pro does it by changing 1 switch in the dash module adaptions

Thanks a million vwjap! One last question because that's not clear for me. Do I need a 'plan' (subscription) like the 'basic vag plan' or 'pro vag plan' to do this mod, in combination with the device? Or can I just do the mod with the device and buying the (10) credits?

I just posted a picture of the actual app dude (10 credits in basic), Or you can buy pro and do it manually So both ways, BUT you still need to say if you have the mk7.5 (v1) or the mk8 (v2) AID

I'm sorry, I'm very new at this and don't now obd eleven at all (I work with vcds but my cable is to old for this vehicule so I'm considering obd eleven as a replacement). But I do understand from your answer that you always do need a 'plan' to do this mod.
I don't have a Golf but a Skoda Kamiq 1.0 TSI 2022. I've asked my question in the Kamiq topic but did not get any response, therefore my question in this topic because I imagine that the process is the same for a Kamiq with virtual cockpit.

Could be, BUT AGAIN (and last time) what AID do you have? If v2 this did not come in the mk7.5 it’s in the 8 If v1 then yes it should work by changing your clocks to the R design even tho you might have to unlock SFD (which is not on mk7.5’s) and you probably will have to open the bonnet/hood

How can I look up the type of AID? I honestly think it is v2 because my vagcom cannot read the full data of the car (cable is not fully compatible, I can only read fault codes), that's why I looked at OBD Eleven as a solution.

Hi vwjap, thanks again for your answer and patience. The fuel and temp gauges are on the side, fuel right, temp left. Does this mean that I cannot do the mod on my car through obd eleven?
Again, my car is a Skoda Kamiq, not a VW Golf. I have the facelift model of the Kamiq (2022) so I guess the electronics are still the same as the pre-facelift model, that is around since 2019.

As the Vw golf mk7 never came with your clocks then I’m afraid I wouldnt know (maybe look in the mk8) But the higher speed is from the golf R so not sure if it would be available in a Skoda unless the Cupra has a higher speed

Thanks again vwjap, there are VRS models of Skoda, not for a Kamiq though... I guess the only way to found out is to buy and try. It's a bit of a shame that there is zero support from OBD Eleven, they just refer me to the forum. I'm very grateful for this forum but one can expect support from the developer when they buy such a device so that is a rather big disappointment.
