Given I got no responses, I've just edited (*) this now with what finally worked for me.... hope it helps someone!
My car is Australian delivered (Right hand drive) 2013 2.0 TSI Jetta Highline (CCZA) which has electric mirrors with the puddle lights & heater. In terms of the driver /passenger door modules, the (more relevant) factory long-coding codes reported in OBDEleven indicate:
'mirror_light' installed 'Turn signal in exterior rear-view mirror' installed 'door_exit_light' not installed <tried changing this one but doesn't change behavior, presumbly 'mirror_light' is the right setting> 'mirror memory' installed 'Mirror fold-in' installed 'Mirror heater, remote start function' not active 'Mirror fold-in, comfort' not active 'Mirror fold-in, comfort' not active
(None of these settings had to be changed)
* The 2 driver door module adaptions required to get the long-press on the fob-key to close the mirrors were:
1. System Parameter 0 (Byte8) - 95 (default was 99)
2. System Parameter 14 (Byte1) - E9 (default was E0)
It's the second one which is not widely reported, but seems to be necessary on some RHD models including Passats, is what worked here.
Most threads on the subject state that the Gen4 Driver door module is also required, so I'm guessing my car has this. It's not clear how to get this info from OBDEleven (VAG-COM seems to append this info to the door module file after a scan).

Confirmed that this works, I only had to do it on the driver side door.

I’m new to these things, where in the OBDeleven app can I find these settings? This is one thing I’d love to happen when I lock my car.
