I would like to active the rain sensor so that if my widows and sunroof are open and it starts to rain, the windows and sunroof will close

Did you ever hear anything back from anyone? I’ve created an acct. prior to purchasing because I feel like the support for our vehicles isn’t great. Hopefully we become more active and then I’ll make the purchase.

Before enabling RLS make sure that it is installed on your car! I did it with obdeleven. Go to the control Units -> block 9 (central electrics) -> subsystems -> long coding : In byte 1: bit 5 should be unchecked and bit 2 and bit 3 should be checked. OBDeleven doesn't provide descriptions for these bits but you can see it in VCDC manuals: www.myturbodiesel.com/d2/1000q/b7/vw-passat-auto-wiper-activation.htm : bit 0 : Highway Light Function active (above 140 kph / 90 mph ) bit 1 : Rain Light Functiona active bit 2 : rain closing active bit 3-4 : Light activation threshold : 00 - normal, 01 - +20%, 10 - + 40%, 11 - + 60% bit 5 : Rain Sensor inactive
