I have lost the tilt steering function. The telescope function (in and out) is still working. Sounds like a common issue on Audis, I was able to find VCDS steering column reset but can't find anything for OBD11.

Here is the procedure for VCDS , can anyone translate into OBD11
Basic Setting
Steering Column Adjustment Prerequisites: Steering Column or the Central Electronics Control Module (J519) have been replaced. Approach all 4 end positions (up, down, forward, back). [Select] [09 - Central Electronics] [Basic Settings - 04] Group 001 [Go!] Activate the Basic Setting. [ON/OFF/Next] The adjustment should now be learned. [Done, Go Back] [Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

My tilt would not go up or down, tried to reset, then it wouldn't go in or out as well. I unhooked the battery and connected the positive lead to the ground for 5 min to reset all modules. Reconnected the battery. It does make a lot of codes pop up. Clear them then follow the directions listed.
