Would it not be good to have a feature to make own one click for own use only which are saved like shortcut for the code you want? " save the code as a shortcut" Just a thought  |

Yes many of us have asked for this, along with being able to save live data / chart settings.
Dev team i appreciate there are many issues at this time but please before you start messing around with BMW Coding can you give us all a macro facility this would make a huge difference to many many users.

To add to this request is that your own app is not locked to one car in your garage but can be used on all your cars in the garage.
Also give an error if one of the many commands fails or path doesn't exist, and ask if you still wanna make the change with the part of the commands in the app that works.

To add to this request is that your own app is not locked to one car in your garage but can be used on all your cars in the garage. That's not a good idea. Here's why: If I create a one-click-app to activate MPH display in VW Tiguan it would do the following: connect with module 17
go to long coding
go to byte 02
go to bit 2
enable
save
Then, using this app in different car (for example VW Golf MK7) will mess up coded fuel tank variant data, because at this address (0x17,Byte02,Bit2) different cars store different things. |

^ I understand your point, however if people dont understand the damage they can do with obdeleven manual coding or even the obdeleven apps that sometimes are badly coded, then thats their fault for not researching more and not obdeleven.
Of course they could help out by adding a warning with 5-7 seconds delay before you can press the button to commit changes with your own app.
