Hi I initially posted this in the General forum, but got no advice, so I thought I'd try here, in case it is a TT issue. I have a 2015 Mk3 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI and ODBEleven PRO. A recent scan (ignition only) shows this:
Looking at the detail for the transmission shows this fault, which I think is no problem, but am yet to investigate.
But when trying to access the brakes issue I get this:
I have retried several times, ignition switched on and off, app cache cleared, Bluetooth unpaired and re-paired; same result. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be, or things I should try? I hope this is the best board to post this question on? Thank you.

Sorry but I dont know the answer but some questions and ideas 1/ Could you confirm phone and android version 2/ Do you have this problem only with the brake control unit or is it with many of them 3/ After you have run you scan what color is the Brake Control unit set to (the ring around the number) looks like its red (which is valid as you have a fault) 4/ Have you made any changes to the brakes via either app or coding Only suggestions I have is: uninstall and reinstall software (should not make any difference but we have seen it on very odd occasions If you are using the legacy dongle then delete it from your paired devices and just try connecting without being paired to see if that makes any difference If possible can you try connecting with another phone / tablet If none of these make any difference then contact support via the help funtion in the app (pointing them at this thread with your answers and finally post the issue here obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/7763/18?page=1&scrollTo=34356 so that all the issues are in one place. Hope that helps.

Thank you for the swift reply:
The phone is a Pixel 2 running Android 10 It seems to be only the brake control unit affected I have no made any changes to the brakes via app or coding
After I deleted my Bluetooth pairing I started my subsequent scan without having paired using the OS. I.e. let the ODBeleven app do the pairing.
I have not tried reinstalling the app because I am a little worried that I won't remember my login credentials and what trauma that my bring. However I will bite the bullet and give that a go this evening and if all goes well report back on the results along with confirming the colour the brake control unit shows, should the issue remain.
I have a tablet that I can try also.
Thanks for the advice.

I downloaded the app to a Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 6.0.1
Scanning produced the same results as the Pixel 2; Transmission and brake modules showing red with reported issues. No problem displaying the detail of the transmission error, but requesting details from the brake module again results in the "control unit not responding" notification.
Sounding like a problem with the car itself?

I would raise this with support, if its showing red that means its talked to the control unit and been told there is an error, Therefore I would expect an error to be shown under faults even if it were just UNKNOWN ERROR
If the control unit is Black that means you have added it to your setup but the tool cant talk to it.
Feels more like a bug to me but give support the details and lets see what they have to say.

I have posted on the android bugs board, as you suggested.
Thank you for the assistance.

My issue has now lingered on the Android bugs board for 3-weeks with no response.
Just in case it turns out not to be a bug, is there anything else I should be trying in order to get a response from this control unit?
Cheers.

Argh ran into this problem this afternoon. Using 1st gen dongle with pro on a Huawei p30 pro (Android 11) on a 2018 VW Passat TDI. All worked fine previously.
Changed battery and set out to recode it. Tried to enter control unit 19 and got error message unable to connect to control unit check ignition and retry. Same for all control units.
Tried deleting device in app, repairing Bluetooth and clearing app data with no joy.
FFS why is it not working! Anyone any suggestions?
