What is the status for gen2 bug fixing? There have been multiple software version and still there is bug reports coming with cannot connect ecu problem. I stopped using gen2 some time ago becouse its useless if i cannot connect ecu and some other modules. At the moment i use gen1 becouse it works. Gen2 have some serious problems still especially with k-line cars.
I know there is 14 days limit for refund but this is bad problem becouse this bug makes gen2 devices useless in some cars. Last time when i used gen2 in my car i was able to connect only 1 or 2 modules so i am seriously thinking to ask refund becouse of this problem. I buyed device that i cannot use becouse it doesnt work and only info i have is they are working to solve the problem but nothing more. It has been 1 month or more with this problem and many users have been reported this.
I like my gen1 device and i like to use it but gen2 is having way too much problems.

I bought the Nextgen device and I'm an Audi TT 2001 owner and as already mentioned I have the same problem.. already reported into the Android bug report section and I'm waiting for this famous "fixing update". I hope they will fix soon otherwise I will ask for the refund too..

@obdeleven I am sorry to say this but I do think it is important you guys give the user community a resonable expectation on a) when IOS Pro is going live and b) when we can start to see some of the communication issues on the older cars resolved.
Silence is bad and saying "WATCH THIS SPACE" is bad for the BRAND if you want to carry on picking up more customers. Further I would also say that there are a number of key issues like removing/making it hard to perform Factory resets and DSG Basic settings just not working that need to be resolved.
All of this to be resolved before you start on the BMW Stuff
My humble opinion as a long term happy user with the tool, but frustrated by the lack of communication.

Good evening everyone, Just found this forum and instantly found this thread. I have the GEN2 and noticed on a customers car that i was unable to connect with similar symptoms, such as only seeing one module ect. This happens to be an Audi TT MK1 as well. Has not been long since last post, but when and where would we find such update? Is the update done thru the app itself? Just a couple quick questions for you all. This thread is bookmarked so i will be watching for updates! TIA

TIA There are two streams of releases, there are a team of users who take part in the testing via a bet release (and you can see our comments on the forum).
However that group is closed for now so no new members as I hope the oBD11 Dev team are working on fixiing the BIG issue of connection.
For the rest all releases are done via the play store (for android) and you will get a notification in the app saying update available, you have no choice but to take the update as OBD11 only support one production version.

Then why one user at finland got information that the connection problem with older cars is hardware related and device needs replacing to correct the issue?
