Hi all Changing my fuel filter this weekend - i have seen a few youtube videos whereby they are using VCDS to prime the fuel pump after replacing the filter is this something that we can do with OBD11 - do we even need to do it if anyone has replaced theirs themselves (mk7 GTD) If it is something we can do any clues to what i need to do please ? Thanks Jeni

Hello, You may be able to perform it without any diag tool, just take off the fuel hose from the filter to the HP Fuel pump, and switch your ignition on and wait 4 second and then off, on 4 seconds and then off, repeat that operation until you see the fuel coming out of the filter, you may need to put a recipient under it so the fuel wont leak on top of the alternator belt, This should be enough.than put back the fuel hose and start your engine.
