I have the Four Brake Light coding done, as well as the third brake light blink on lock/unlock but the inner hatch lights don’t blink when locking or unlocking. Anyone got a fix for that?

tristan: Hi.
Try this:
ONLY if Leuchte23SL HLC10-Lichtfunktion B 23 and Leuchte24SL HRA65-Lichtfunktion B 24 has the setting not active, change to Aktive Blinkfunktion hat ein auf 1 gesetztes zugeordnetes Bit in pa_dynamisch_blinken

E.g.: "Leuchte22BR MA57 ". Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. karlitos: It's easy to think about Leuchte-sets as the panacea to all ills - but alas these little gems are not like this!! There are 35 x Leuctche sets in the BCM and in the main, they control the external lights on the car.
The light in your picture is not really an "alarm-related door LED" - it's design purpose is as a warning light to the driver to indicate when the central locking SAFELOCK function is engaged (in case children are left in the vehicle- I assume). This LED is connected directly to the driver door module @ address hex42 (VW calls this module "J386)" - alas it has no connection to the BCM (other than through the CAN messaging bus) and as far as I know it doesn't have an assigned Leuchte-set.
Don PS: Leuchte22BR MA57 is the Leuchte-set for the third brake light

Hi dv52 (Australia) Thanks for answer. I ask you about this light because I saw this video (see below - 8:59). The guy enable "safety LED (red driver's door LED)" as an additional indicator of open doors with ignition on.Do you know how to do this mod/tweak? Thank you for your attention and patience. Karlly

^^^Karlly : LED in your video link physically looks the same - but it's a different color to the SAFELOCK LED (it's called "K133" in the VW wiring diagram). I suspect that it's been physically wired to the micro-switch on the passenger door - but I'm totally guessing

Hi Don.
Happy new year!
I talked to the guy in the video above. The modification was made by VCDS. But he told me that in Jetta and some models of Golf (especially MK7.5) there is no such option, it's avaliable only in Polo, Virtus and T-Cross. SAFE LED- lichtfunktion C55.

I looked at my Polo (6C) database and I have found the Leuchte-set:
Leuchte15 SAFE LED C55 Dimming_AB_15 > 100 Dimming_CD_15 > 0 Dimming_EF_15 > 0 Dimming_GH_15 > 0 Lichtansteuerung HD_AB_15 > Always Dimming_Direction_CD_15 > maximize Dimming_Direction_EF_15 > maximize Dimming_Direction_GH_15 > maximize
Fehlerort_mittleres_Byte_DTC-DFCC_15 > 0 Lampendefektbit_Position_15 > 0 Light_Function_A_15 > SafeLED Light_Function_B_15 > not active Light_Function_C_15 > not active Light_Function_D_15 > not active Light_Function_E_15 > not active Light_Function_F_15 > not active Light_Function_G_15 > not active Light_Function_H_15 > not active Lasttyp_15 > allgemeineLEDmitOpenLoadDiagnose
Definitely not in a mk7, or mk7.5 AFAIK!!
